Tumaini Innovation Center (TIC)

Tumaini Innovation Center is a nonprofit social enterprise located in Eldoret, Kenya. We deliver vocational training, mentorship, community outreach, and innovation projects to empower marginalized youth populations. Our programs include Automotive Engineering, Food Production Technology, Cosmetology, Welding & Fabrication, Electrical Engineering, and more. Revenues from our operations are reinvested in programs and social impact.

As a member of AHEEN, Tumaini contributes expertise in inclusive vocational training and community-based innovation. We provide TVET-CDACC technical and vocational training courses based on the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) model to vulnerable and displaced youth, positioning Tumaini as a regional model for CBET delivery in fragile and resource-constrained contexts.
